01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Tucked into Higashi-Oi in Shinagawa Ward, Izakaya Eichan is a seasoned neighborhood pub run by a baseball-loving owner. The dishes arriving from the kitchen are neatly presented small plates, designed to be enjoyed slowly alongside a glass of beer or another drink from the bar.
A screen showing baseball games gives the space a familiar, communal rhythm, making it an easy gathering spot to take in sports over food and drinks. It welcomes solo walk-ins dropping by for a quick pour, while also providing table service and accepting advance reservations.
The pub opens from 17:00 until 24:00 late at night on weekdays, and starts from 14:00 on Saturdays. For payment, smartphone barcode methods including PayPay, Rakuten Pay, and au PAY are accepted.
